Gotta love the team names, very creative.... Team Pittsfield's OFFICIAL flag! Tie them up tight! Just follow the steeple to the start line! We can't do it without all our volunteers! Don't worry, my socks will keep me warm. Our trusty medical team ready for action! Twelve pipers piping.......... Quasnet kids ready to pre-hydrate our runners!! Gearing up......... Nerves, nerves, nerves......... A moment to reflect......... BOOM! Off they go! You go right, I'll go left! I'll meet you at the finish! Down Main Street Our own Carolyn Bird brings up the rear after orchestrating all the race timers! Nice serenade............. The beach is that way! Terry McNatt sets the pace for the NER All-Stars All smiles from 2-time champion, Mary Lynn Currier. Is this your first marathon too? Then let's stick together! Did we really sign up for all 26.2 miles? Looking good and strong! Falmouth Harbor Joseph Ekuom, sets the early pace! They call that a hill? Should we take a swim before we go on? Relay exchange #1 Relayer's to the left, marathoner's to the right! Running through beautiful Falmouth Heights...... Fans today, marathoners tomorrow. You can do it! Hey, follow me, there a coffee shop up ahead! Where am I? So this is where cranberries come from...... The pace group maintains speed. Kids offering hydration options. Determination! No, not Cape Cod -- Running a virtual CCM in Afghanistan. What mile is this? Looking smooth at 17! Great form! The 17 mile hill - no problem I think I can.....I think I can..... Are we there yet? Loving the fans! You never feel alone running Cape Cod.......... Third relay exchange You can do it! Is that Carly Simon? Go, Team Chill! Second place female, Megan Malgeri, rounds the corner in Woods Hole. I hope this is the right way! The fans anxiously await..... 2009 medallions Victory for the third time! Going for it! It was really the Cytomax that did it..... Dreams can come true.... TEAMWORK! I'm so close....... Main Street crowd cheers in the runners Justin Thibault is about to finish in 10th place with a PR of 2:54:48 Karen Mahoney-Ringehis - 7th Women's master (3:30:35) Eastham's Ian Clark --6th place with a PR of 2:51:15 Jamie Kreider finishing as the 3rd master (2:59:35) Smiling the whole way! Williamsburg, VA's John Piggott is all smiles as he's about to finish 9th in 2:54:27 Whew, that was fun! Cape Cod is their favorite marathon, Peter's 16th and Rosemary's 24th! Okay, we're done, when does the post-party start? We did it! Ahhhhhhhhh, that was nothing! SATISFACTION! Just another notch on my belt! Hey, can I buy you a drink? Great cheering section! BFF's Great accomplishment! Time to celebrate! The muscle milk renegade Do you think I'll be able to get off the table after you are done? They run for donuts and the post race chowder/spaghetti meal. Cheers! Dancing with the stars....... Our fearless race director's hidden talent........ BaHa Brothers jamming.......
