I just wanted to reach out to say thank you for the wonderful experience I had at yesterday’s race. This was my first in-person race since Covid, and I think being away from races for so long helped me gain a better appreciation for all the hard work that must go into making an event like that happen (although I really can’t begin to fathom all the behind the scenes details). You and your staff did a phenomenal job making the marathon an organized and fun experience. The course was safe, well-marked, and well-stocked with everything a marathoner needs thanks to the staff, the selfless volunteers, and the police details. I really can’t say enough about the volunteers all over the course – they truly are a special breed of human. Thanks again for making it such a memorable day! – 2022

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say thank you properly for organizing such a fantastic event.  I wanted to let you know how enjoyable the entire weekend was.  My wife did the half in the epic rain. I got to PR in the marathon today. The support from locals, the pancake breakfast, the volunteers, everything about the race was fantastic.  You and all volunteers are the real heroes of the marathon weekend, thank you again.  See you next year! – 2022

Kudos for a great race despite the miserable weather. The volunteers who stood out for hours providing water were so upbeat and encouraging. I am particularly grateful to the medical team who provided me with broth , blankets, a chair and a place to shed my sodden clothing as I shivered uncontrollably after crossing the finish line.  They were fantastic!  Upon arriving home, after  long nap, under a pile of blankets, I awoke good to go and I am back on the roads again none the worse for wear.  At 85 years of age, I suspect that this will be my last half  and needless to say it has  been  one of the most memorable , thanks to Ian.  So,  once again, thanks to all who were there for the duration of the race to cheer and assist,  your dedication has not been taken for granted. – 2022

I honestly had the afterglow of that marathon on my face all last week. I can’t wait to run it again –2023

I participated in my first half marathon on Saturday. Just wanted to drop a line to say thank you so much to all of the volunteers and organizers for a great weekend. Everyone was just so nice, helpful and encouraging. Looking forward to next year already! –2023
